Join Mike Pirrit and the French Bay Paddlers for a downwinder with a difference this 26/27 August – just in time for the team going to ISA Worlds 2017 in Denmark.

Not only will all the money raised from registrations go to the team, you’ll also get to paddle one of the best downwind runs on the NZ map.  And if you’ve ever experienced the fantastic hospitality of this West Auckland crew, you know the food and welcoming social side is up there with the brilliant paddling!  Keep the whole weekend of the 26th-27th August free to take advantage of the wind conditions (the event will be held one afternoon – either Saturday or Sunday).

A few words from Mike:
We’ve pencilled in the weekend to give us the best possible conditions. We will have trailers and vehicles taking us from our respective finish points to the starts. Details on aftermatch location to follow.

We will have three safety boats covering two and most likely three different length courses. All of the courses will have paddlers pushed towards land, creating safe paddling for all skill and fitness levels.

Courses available for every wind direction. Please register your intention for entering on our French Bay Facebook event page, allowing us to plan for logistics and catering.

Registration Fee: $50 Adult, $25 Kids.
A selection of quality food will be available at French Bay after the races. $10 per head.
